BORDER COLLIES
About Us
We are a working farm which farms sheep and cattle. We are not puppy breeders, but keep working sheepdogs for the farm and three labradors as pets.
Border collies make fantastic pets and many of our previous puppies have gone to family homes as pets. However, we do prefer that potential owners have some experience of caring for a border collie in the past, as they are a very intelligent and physically active breed. If you haven't got such experience we suggest you do some reading about the breed and make sure that it is the right type of dog for you and your lifestyle.
About the Parents
The mother, Mil (Milly) is from a line that has been on the farm for generations and is the main working dog on the farm.
The father, Angus, is also one of the farm dogs, and both the mother and father can be seen on the farm.
About the Pups 9 pups - born on 07/05/04
There are three female puppies left, out of a litter of 9. They all black and white with a rough coat. You can see each puppy from the photographs to the right. They are on a diet of dried puppy food - some food will be given when the puppies go to new homes to help wean them on to the owners prefered food. They have been wormed but not innoculated (these will be due by your vet within the next two weeks).
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in seeing the pups. we are in Newtown, mid Wales which is about a 50 minute drive from Shrewsbury and an hour from Telford.
